Co-founder Kade Morton, of Arachne Digital, shares an update about what’s been happening since being selected as a finalist for the 24/25 competition pitchday.

"Post the pitchday we've been following up with all the judges and contacts we made through the Future of Capitalism competition.

One of the judges, John White, put me onto someone, who put me onto someone that has been giving me great advice around some of the products we offer.

I recently also spoke to another of the judges, Nina Hồ, to get some strategy advice and find out what they are looking at post UT Austin.

We've had some headwinds on the business side. We had a sales rep that didn't work out, so I've been shouldering the sales, on top of other duties for the business. With the sales that have fallen to me I've been putting all my energy into building our client base and with a few more contracts signed I'll be able to go to market for another rep.

We've been talking with Tony Ryan from the Design and Technology Association, and have provided financial support for their podcast, as well as Duro Oye from 20/20 Levels. Both are working on amazing things and I'm exploring ways that we can support both organisations.

We've also had a number of conversations with one of the other finalists, Dennis Nwanshi of NetraScale. They are keen to partner with Arachne Digital and I've set them up with access to our threat intelligence to assist with their development of RiskAct. We should have something to jointly announce in the near future, which is very exciting.

I hope everything is going amazing for Leo Lion and all the best for the work you do leading into the competition!"
