Our second competition attracted a huge range of interest from startups across the world, nine finalists were selected to pitch with three being nominated as winners by the expert judging panel.
WINNER: BioTech
Region - Israel
Diptera.ai has the potential to revolutionize the health and livelihood of billions of people by modernizing the tools to fight mosquitoes and the diseases they spread, a growing problem that is being amplified by climate change. Diptera.ai uses biology and computer vision to sustainably control mosquito populations and end the transmission of diseases like malaria, dengue, Zika, and more. To date, they have successfully conducted one of the world’s largest release pilots, reducing the local mosquito population by up to 94% in an entire town, and are collaborating with the Gates Foundation to combat malaria. They are now raising funds to bring this solution to the people who need it the most.

DanuRobotics have developed an AI Guided Robotic Waste Management System which aims to combat the problem of recycling facilities being reliant on slow manual sorting. Their AI guided multi-picker, which has attracted significant market attention, offers a robotic sorting system that operates like an octopus, eight pickers can pick out eight different things, and will fully automate the whole waste sorting process.

Jade Autism is a pioneering company that empowers neurodivergent children through innovative technology. Their gamified platform leverages artificial intelligence and data-driven insights to support early autism detection and personalised educational strategies. With a global presence in over 179 countries and partnerships with governments, schools, and educators, Jade aims to foster inclusion, improve learning outcomes, and create a more equitable future for all children.

NetraScale is a pioneering cybersecurity and risk management startup that aims to safeguard the digital infrastructure and supply chains of small and medium-sized businesses. Their AI-powered solutions are designed to help small businesses to combat advanced cyber threats and fraudulent activities. By securing the digital backbone of the economy NetraScale will contribute to economic stability and foster innovation – helping to build a more resilient digital ecosystem where businesses of all sizes can thrive.

Their system will revolutionise the $110B legacy promotional and uniform product industry's supply chain by simplifying design, sourcing, production, and distribution through automated technology—eliminating intermediaries, improving transparency and efficiency. By working directly with verified factories, distributors using SourceEazy can simplify operations, ensure ethical and sustainable sourcing, and eliminate unnecessary middlemen, significantly reducing excessive markups.

Gotcha has developed AI-based, multi-model emotion recognition solutions to help businesses enhance customer satisfaction and detect fraud, utilizing real-time analysis of facial behaviour, speech recognition, and gestures, without storing biometric data, and detecting 13 distinct emotions, including advanced deception cues.
